SONJA SCHEEL
* October 10th 1922 - † December 30th 1998
A great personality passed away in 1998.
Highly respected and acknowledged cainbreeder for more than 35 years.
Sonja's prefix ROBINSON CRUSOE has had a tremendous and important influence on the cairnbreed in Denmark for many cairn generations. The last 10 years in close co-breeding with her daughter Tine Mathari (prefix: McAlister), who of course will continue to build her future breeding programme on her mother's excellent Robinson Crusoe bloodlines.

"LOUISA" - Sonja's first Courtrai import in 1980 - was the foundation bitch of Sonja's famous Robinson Crusoe bloodlines, and became DKCH in 1986.
Sonja succeeded to breed 7 Danish and 3 American CHAMPIONS in her Robinson Crusoe prefix - in close co-operation with her daughter Tine Mathari. (Kennel McAlister).

Sonja's last litter: Robinson Crusoe "Q - Puppies" (after NORDCH Tribuns "Yellow Souvereign" ~ DKCH FINCH KLBCH Robinson Crusoe "JENNIFER") was born on October 28th 1998. Sonja was most fortunate to see these puppies grow up, and she was extremely proud of this gorgeous litter, which her daughter Tine took over after her death.
